What the Driver Portal looks like

Three example views from the Driver Portal: the dashboard with reimbursement KPIs, the vehicle detail page with live telemetry from the connected brand, and the home zone with geofence for automatic home charging.

Driver Portal dashboard: greeting, vehicle-connected status, ready-for-payout, odometer, electricity price 32.38 ct, last reimbursement March 2026 (EUR 79.20), current month April 2026 (EUR 113.17), quick links to charging history and billing.

Vehicle list: one connected Audi A6 Avant e-tron, VIN, last sync, battery 91 percent, 369 km range, odometer 473, history of recent readings.
Vehicle telemetry — battery, range, position from the brand cloud
Home zone: map view with address, blue geofence circle around the home charge point. Only charging sessions inside the circle count as home charging.

The Driver Portal is the EV app for daily use: automatically track home charging and get it reimbursed monthly, review your charging history, connect BMW or VW vehicle data directly via the official OEM APIs — no detour through the manufacturer's app.

For private wallbox owners, company-car drivers with home reimbursement, or EV enthusiasts who want a continuous charging history. No CPO or fleet account needed — you sign up yourself and are productive in under two minutes.

Utilities and fleet operators additionally deploy the portal as a white-label product under their own brand and domain.

What to expect

Home charging & reimbursement

Every charging session at your wallbox is tracked automatically and prepared for monthly reimbursement. PDF export for HR or accounting.

CarData integration

Native BMW and VW OEM integration via OAuth Device Code Flow. No reverse engineering, no third-party scrapers — official manufacturer APIs.

Continuous charging history

Public and private charging sessions in one timeline. Filterable by time, location, vehicle and tariff.

Multi-vehicle

Multiple vehicles per driver with clear session attribution — ideal for families or company-car swaps.

Common scenarios

1

Company-car driver with home wallbox

You drive a company car and charge at your home wallbox. At month end you export the home-charging summary and submit it to HR — no more Excel gymnastics.

2

White-label for utilities

Custom domain, custom logo, custom SMTP gateway. Your customers see the utility's brand, not Pipelet's.

How Driver Portal fits into the suite

Frequently asked questions

Is Pipelet available as source code?
Yes. Every module is available as a source-access package — complete with Docker Compose, documentation and an SLA support channel. You can audit, customize and self-host.
Which OCPP versions are supported?
Full OCPP 1.6 and 2.0.1 including Security Profiles, Smart Charging, and ISO 15118 Plug & Charge.
Can I use individual modules only?
Yes. Every module is standalone — you can deploy e.g. just the OCPP Broker as infrastructure and build your own CPMS on top.
What does onboarding look like?
We start with a 30-minute call to scope requirements. After that you get a concrete proposal with modules, timeline and price. Pilot typically live in 4–8 weeks.
Do I need a CPO account to use the Driver Portal?
No. EV drivers sign up directly at driver.pipelet.com — no CPO or fleet context required.
